IT Epic Manager- Patient Access

Responsibilities

Drive enterprise-wide initiatives designed to improve patient access, engagement, and digital health adoption
Lead a team responsible for the strategy, delivery, and optimization of platforms and workflows that directly influence how patients interact with Duly—from scheduling and registration to access and activation
Lead implementation and enhancement of Epic Patient Access tools (e.g., Cadence, Prelude, RTE, Referrals)
Build and oversee scalable workflows that increase registration/scheduling efficiency, patient access, and online scheduling
Collaborate with IT, Operations, and Clinical leaders to align patient-facing solutions with enterprise strategy
Develop KPIs and dashboards to measure activation performance and identify areas for optimization
Manage a high-performing team and guide project execution with a focus on digital innovation and process improvement
Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and data security best practices across all platforms
Identify opportunities for automation and systems-level improvements to reduce administrative burden
Act as a cross-functional liaison to support strategic planning and stakeholder alignment

Required

Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, Patient registration/scheduling, or Epic system management
In-depth knowledge of Epic Cadence, Prelude, and Referrals workflows
Experiences with Epic upgrade cycles, release notes, and regression testing Proven success leading digital engagement initiatives across complex health systems
Experience managing teams and/or cross-functional project groups in a healthcare setting
Hands-on familiarity with Epic tools related to patient access and engagement is required
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data insights into scalable action plans
Strong vendor management and collaboration skills with Epic representatives Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to communicate complex IT concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across departments
Proven collaboration in multidisciplinary environments (e.g., working with clinicians, scheduling teams, and finance)
