Responsibilities
Clean miscellaneous exterior trash and debris and deposit them into waste receptacles
Empty exterior trash and recycling receptacles at least 3 times daily, more if necessary
Empty classroom and common area trash and recycling receptacles daily
Remove trash and debris from all stairwells and hallways as necessary
Ensure trash is placed in designated dumpsters
Disinfect all high-touch and common areas of the school site daily
Scrubbing, buffing, and steam clean floors
Vacuum offices in school site 2 times a week
Sweep all classrooms 3 times a week
Clean countertops and desk surfaces 3 times a week
Clean out staff kitchens monthly
Request, restock, and maintain custodial supplies and equipment, as needed
Secure facilities; including making rounds, locking doors, closing windows, and turning off lights
Survey building and grounds for hazards and report findings to Supervisor
Move tables, chairs and stage components for event set-ups, when requested
Wear proper PPE at all times
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma (or equivalent) or one year of related work experience
Ability to speak and understand English
Commercial cleaning best practices
Use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
Reliability and Punctuality
Cooperation/Teamwork
Ability to understand and follow simple and complex instructions
