The University of South Florida is seeking multiple open rank faculty positions in the Center for Molecular Psychiatry. Candidates are expected to engage in collaborative research, provide mentorship, and maintain a competitive research program.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a nationally competitive research program with continued extramural funding, peer-reviewed publications, and collaboration with other faculty
Participate in didactic teaching and mentoring medical or graduate students or post-doctoral fellows
Participate in service functions of the institute, department, or university and at the national level
Responsible to a Chair or other appropriate higher-level administrator of a State university
Responsible for teaching, research, service, and related administrative activities
Responsible for academic advising and related activities
May represent the university, college/school, or department
Qualification
Required
M.D. or Ph.D. in neuroscience, psychiatry, psychology, or related disciplines
A track record of scholarly research
Publications
History of, or evidence of potential for obtaining extramural funding
Completion of a doctoral degree in a related field
Must be able to meet University criteria for appointment at rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor Rank
Preferred
Expertise in cell-based or non-rodent animal model systems
