Maintain material supplies
Maintain studio standards of health and safety
Maintain workflow through the firing process
Mix shop clay
Mix shop glazes
Unload and load kilns
Perform other related duties as assigned

Required

Currently enrolled MICA student
Have completed CE200 or CE201
Ceramic experience from another institution is also applicable
Knowledge of: ceramic materials and processes
Skills: cleaning and organizational skills
Ability to: follow directions, be punctual and dependable
May need to lift 50lbs
May require PPE (environment is dusty)
May require working outside and or at extreme temperatures
Be trained on working with several types of machines not limited to clay mixers, kilns, power tools etc

Preferred

Ceramics 300 level class
