Responsibilities
Updating environmental training material
Performing environmental field walkdowns
Researching chemical data to support waste characterization
Field and desktop work associated with the staging and managing of hazardous wastes
Working with technical staff on method efficiencies to the Environmental Bioassay Laboratory
Working with Environmental Monitoring Program staff on the Annual Site Environmental Report
Various environmental compliance and monitoring support functions, as needed
Qualification
Required
Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
Must be a full-time student at an accredited four-year college or university, or within one year after finishing a degree program
Must have completed freshman year of college
Must successfully complete Savannah River Site General Employee Training and substance abuse processing
