Responsibilities

Design and Construction Activities
Project Delivery Methods - Traditional Design-Bid-Build and Alternative Conceptual-Bid-Build
Facility Types – Power Generation buildings, Substations, Oil & Gas structures and Energy Storage buildings
Systems – HVAC and Plumbing
Type of Areas – Power Generation Hall, Administrative, Warehouse, Maintenance, Workshop, Laboratory, Chemical Storage & Handling, Electrical Distribution Center, Low & Medium Voltage Switchgear, Pump Areas, Engine Generator, Blowers/Air Compressors, and Flammable & Combustible Liquids Storage
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
Studies
Energy Audit/Efficiency - Engineering studies, system performance reviews, and energy compliance calculations
Code Review/Application - Facility review for code compliance
Sustainable Design/LEED - Application of sustainable strategies

Required

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing or equivalent experience in Engineering work
Minimum of 5 years related work experience
All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations
Holds an active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements for BV projects in applicable countries, and supports where necessary

Preferred

Basic knowledge of NFPA standards
Basic knowledge of computer generated HVAC Heatloads, energy modeling and HVAC equipment sizing
Basic knowledge of Technical Submittal reviewing process Bid reviewing process
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Basic knowledge of Bluebeam Revu
Person needs to be a LEED AP certified professional experienced in obtaining LEED's certification for industrial buildings
Extensive experience with large-scale water-cooled chillers is preferred
Basic knowledge of International Codes Council (ICC) Suite of Codes
Basic knowledge of ASHRAE Handbooks / Standards
Basic knowledge of ASPE design handbooks
Basic knowledge of SMACNA Standards
