Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, encouraging learning, innovation, and collaboration
Continue to make Optimum a friendly environment
Owns 2+ scrums with accountability for the results
Go-to advocate for Frontend services in the organization
Prioritize and eliminate technical debt
Use prototypes and proof of concepts as the primary for deep and detailed explorations of architecture and software designs
Set the technical direction for Frontend services, applying best practices and innovative solutions
Identify and drive process improvements to enhance the software development lifecycle
Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and secure code across repositories
Design and deliver scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions that align with technical and business goals
Lead the development and maintenance of APIs for mobile and web applications
Ensure smooth communication and teamwork between engineering, product, and business teams
Set clear goals, provide feedback, and promote a growth-oriented culture
Qualification
Required
Minimum 8 years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
Comfortable working with live production systems, debugging issues, and taking careful actions with protection against damage
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Experience managing software development projects, including scoping, planning, and execution
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on finding creative solutions to complex challenges
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication to different audiences
Proven ability to lead and inspire engineering teams, foster collaboration, and drive results
Experience with Google cloud and its capabilities
Proficiency in programming languages (Go and Java)
