Quality System Engineer

The Quality System Engineer will develop and maintain the plant’s integrated management system, coordinate internal audits, and ensure adherence to quality standards in the automotive sector.

Responsibilities

In accordance with the Division, customers and international standards (ISO/IATF…), develops and maintains the plant’s IMS (integrated management system)
Coordinates the internal audit planning and internal audits (System, process, product)
Utilizes the Internal audit NCN tool. Monitors and reports progress in NCN closure. Analyses the internal audit results at least annually
Leads the management review process
Assures IATF 16949 adherence, Internal audit NCN, NCN closure rate
Responsible of document control in sites
Coordinates external Audits and NCN closing
Supports problem solving teams and continuous improvement initiatives
Able to travel and support new plants and SILS
Lead issue resolution and problem-solving both internally and with customers
Ensure robust process control and adherence to control plans
Lead structured problem-solving efforts using tools such as 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone
Ensure adherence to control plans and process standards on the production floor
Quality Systems Management Maintain and improve QMS documentation and processes
Plan, conduct, and follow up on internal audits; support external audits and certification processes
Train employees on QMS tools, standards, and document control procedures
Lead implementation and monitoring of IATF16949 standards and support ISO certifications
Lead special assignments and quality initiatives as delegated

Qualification

ISO 9001/IATF16949 CertificationQuality Management ExperienceDFMEAPFMEAAPQPSPCAnalytical SkillsOrganizational SkillsProblem-Solving Skills

Required

Technical High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or Business Administration preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Management, with at least 3 years in the automotive industry
Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 9001/IATF16949
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Expertise in DFMEA, PFMEA, MSA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, GD&T
Deep understanding of IATF16949/ISO/VDA requirements and auditing practices
Skilled in quality planning, problem-solving, and maintaining quality certifications
Able to travel among different sites in US

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or Business Administration
Enhanced professional training in Quality Management
