Responsibilities

Facilitating learning using the most up to date pedagogy, technology, and discipline specific knowledge

Teaching in all modalities and keeping current in new modalities that develop in higher education

Engaged in service to the college and student support activities

Qualification

Oregon EMT LicenseNational EMS Education Instructor 1 CertificationEmergency medicine experienceBLS CPR InstructorInstructional technology proficiencyAssociate's degreeLicensed Oregon ParamedicDegreeNREMT EMT license

Required

Associate's degree

Oregon EMT License or higher. (Paramedic License may be required)

National EMS Education Instructor 1 Certification or equivalent

Three years of experience in emergency medicine / prehospital care

Current American Hearth Authority BLS CPR Instructor

Successful completion of a criminal history clearance

Successful completion of a healthcare drug screening

Immunizations as outlined by the Oregon Health Authority

Proficiency with instructional and industry technology within 6 months (i.e., word processing, e-mail, learning management system, digital and social media, zoom and other online meeting platforms)
