They are seeking a Pediatric PCP to serve as an expert generalist in Developmental Pediatrics, providing diagnosis and treatment for various developmental disorders while also participating in resident education and departmental responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Serve as expert generalist in Developmental Pediatrics providing diagnosis and treatment of ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders and other disorders of development
Medical evaluation of patients in the Feeding and Swallowing Program
Offer comments and recommendations relative to the adequacy of equipment and personnel utilized in the Department
Recommend equipment need, modernization and assistance with input to capital budget projects
Provide consultative and advisory services to clinicians as requested
Maintain necessary and appropriate documentation for all services provided in compliance with regulatory and hospital policies
Provide on-call and or clinic coverage as requested by the Department Chairman
Participate in scholarly activity and research
Assume responsibility and supervision of education programs for residents as it applies to the Department
Responsible for reviewing medical content of resident’s entries into the medical records and evaluating the clinical competence by the Chairman
Other departmental duties as assigned by the Chairman

Required
