Solar Technician, Solidago Solar Site

ENGIE North America is hiring a Solar Technician for their Solidago Solar Site located near Townsend, DE. Responsibilities

Accessing tasks via SCADA, Maximo, or various SAP software systems and repairing, troubleshooting, and fulfilling technical repair work orders for solar inverters
Managing documentation, updating parts inventory, and submitting on-site status reports, including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
Initiating work orders for equipment repairs
Coordination of high voltage switching activities with local utilities and independent system operators (ISO), which includes tasks like substation operations, equipment lockouts and grounding
Adhere to safety protocols such as conducting Site-Specific Orientations, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and safety meetings
Working independently on-site with nearby technician support
Being part of an on-call rotation for outages and emergencies

Required

Minimum High School Diploma/GED or a diploma in a technical program where you have learned AC/DC current, electrical theory, understand reading blue prints and schematics, industrial electrical equipment including breaker, disconnects, transformers, contactors
Minimum two (2) years of experience in Solar generation sites, Wind generation sites, Manufacturing or Mining operations, Controls & Industrial Maintenance, Balance of Plant or Substation
Capacity to be on call as deemed necessary by supervisor
Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license/clean driving record to drive company vehicle on and around the plant
Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
