Responsibilities
Set up and execute a variety of material and component tests, following established procedures and safety standards
Fabricate and assemble fixtures and test setups for part-level evaluations
Prepare samples and components for testing under various environmental and performance conditions
Install and calibrate sensors such as accelerometers and other instrumentation devices
Perform 3D laser scanning for dimensional validation and analysis
Operate tensile test frames and other equipment to evaluate material properties
Assist with engine dynamometer testing and related experimental activities
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized lab environment by following 5S principles
Qualification
Required
At least 1 year of hands-on experience in laboratory testing or evaluation
Experience setting up and configuring test fixtures, including mechanical and electrical setups
Basic fabrication skills, including cutting and welding of metal frames or fixtures
Familiarity with laboratory testing of metals, fabrics, or plastics
A strong commitment to safety and procedural compliance
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for basic data analysis, reporting, and presentation
A willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative technical environment
High school or equivalent (Required)
Preferred
working in a materials lab: 1 year
setting up test fixtures: 2 years
metal fabrication or welding: 2 years
using 3D scanning tools: 1 year
performing material testing: 1 year
working with sensors or data tools: 1 year
Microsoft Excel for Data: 2 years
supporting product evaluations: 1 year
applying lab safety standards: 2 years
preparing test parts or samples: 1 year
