They are seeking a Transportation Intern to collaborate with staff, clients, and consultants on transportation design projects while gaining exposure to diverse disciplines.

Responsibilities
Collaborates with VHB staff, clients, and consultants to advance projects in a timely manner
Assists in the development of transportation design plans and specifications
Prepares cost estimates for various projects
Utilizes CAD software to complete key deliverables for our design team
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree in civil engineering or related field
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to independently perform multiple tasks and interact appropriately and positively with coworkers
Self-motivated with attention to detail
A strong work ethic and a desire to learn and achieve
Familiarity with transportation and highway engineering principles and resources
Preferred
Experience using CAD software (AutoCAD/Civil3D) is a plus
