They are seeking an Accountant I to join their finance team, responsible for preparing journal entries, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with the preparation of financial reports and taxes.

Responsibilities
Prepares journal entries as needed
Prepares summaries, reports, charts and/or graphs as requested in support of internal and corporate processes (daily O&I report, weekly flash report, weekly sales report, etc.)
Completes NetSuite month-end closing procedures
Assists in the preparation and distribution of monthly financial reports/measures
Reviews and analyzes all general ledger balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis. Verifies accuracy, maintains supporting schedules and makes recommendations for corrections
Oversee all SGA for consolidated reporting
Responsible for the development and analysis of COS and margins based on sales forecast uploaded into the system
Participate in cross-functional or global teams as assigned by the Corporate Controller
Maintains documentation for compliance to policies and procedures for both internal and external audit
Completes quarterly and year-end audit schedules for the external auditors
Prepares required sales tax returns and maintains necessary documentation
Ensures fixed asset policies are followed as a means to ensure that fixed assets are properly safeguarded and accounted for in the facility’s records
Performs accounts payable and accounts receivable duties as needed
Assists Accounting Supervisor as required

Required
Responsible for computing and preparing data for journal entries
Reviewing general ledger and related financial statements for accuracy and reasonableness
Assist with the preparation of financial statements, ledgers, reports and taxes
Prepares journal entries as needed
