They are seeking a Quality Assurance Laboratory Technician responsible for conducting laboratory tests, maintaining compliance with quality standards, and collaborating with production teams to enhance quality assurance initiatives.

Responsibilities

Conducts laboratory tests and analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to verify compliance with established specifications and standards

Records and interprets test data accurately, documenting results in accordance with regulatory and company requirements

Prepares and maintains laboratory equipment, ensuring calibration, cleanliness, and proper functionality

Monitors production processes through routine sampling and testing to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify potential deviations

Investigates and reports non-conformance issues, collaborating with relevant teams to determine root causes and corrective actions

Assists in the creation, review, and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality assurance documentation

Performs environmental monitoring of the lab and production areas, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety protocols

Conducts quality audits and supports internal and external inspection activities

Communicates findings and quality concerns promptly to supervisors and relevant departments

Manages inventory of laboratory supplies, ensuring availability and proper storage of materials

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to read specifications, schematics and manuals

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)

Analytical skills and attention to detail
