Responsibilities

Provides a full range of legal and administrative support to 3 to 4 litigation attorneys
Typing legal documents, briefs and correspondence from machine dictation and hard copy
Filing
Answering telephones
Responding to citizen inquiries
Creating/maintaining legal databases
Managing docket/correspondence control for attorneys and record keeping
Maintaining case management database

Qualification

MS WordTyping 65-70 wpmDetail-orientedTeam playerLaw case management software

Required

Should be proficient in MS Word, encompassing the preparation of litigation documents (including briefs and tables of authorities), memoranda and correspondence
Workload demands typing skill of at least 65-70 wpm
Candidates must be detail-oriented and demonstrate the ability to work proficiently in an intense, litigation-deadline environment
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as a team player in covering the work of others when the situation demands

Preferred

Experience in Law Base case management software is desired, but not required
