Responsibilities
Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on data privacy and security, telemedicine, mobile health applications, electronic health records, artificial intelligence, and medical device regulations
Assess and monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to digital health operations
Develop and implement compliance programs to ensure adherence to legal requirements and best practices
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and licenses related to digital health products and services
Ensure contracts are in compliance with applicable laws and protect the interests of the clients
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 8 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in healthcare law, technology law, or a related field
In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH Act, FDA regulations) and technology-related laws (e.g., data protection, cybersecurity, telecommunication laws)
Strong understanding of digital health technologies, including electronic health records, telemedicine platforms, wearables, and health applications
Proven experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and review related to technology and healthcare
