Team Lead Control System Commissioning
KNAPP North America is a leader in digitizing and automating logistics solutions. The Team Lead Control System Commissioning will ensure project success by leading team members, managing tasks, and overseeing the implementation of projects while maintaining compliance with safety guidelines.

Responsibilities
Ensure that team members follow processes and instructions accordingly to implement assigned projects successfully. Success is measured based on project quality, duration, and costs
Implement projects and take on the role of direct reports on certain projects
Recruit new, adequate, team members based on budget and headcount guidelines of senior management
Utilize subject matter expertise and lead functional interviews to screen candidates for technical skills
Continuously support and develop team members by identifying team members' potential, encouraging them to improve their technical knowledge and skills and teaching them how to actively solve problems on their own
Manage tasks and responsibilities within their team and projects
Review planning documents
Select and assign team members based on skill set and project needs to optimize project success
Continuously monitor project progress and escalate deviations
Communicate frequently with team members on customer sites and in-house
Provide regular status updates to project and department management
Review project reports from team members for technical and qualitative aspects and forward them to department management
Monitor and ensure compliance of safety guidelines at customer sites
Initiate and check actions to achieve project goals
Oversee completion of project finalization tasks
Rate projects
Ensure compliance with processes
Organize and check trainings for team members
Write and maintain commissioning/startup documents
Assist with managing internal projects
Check open points and tasks as assigned
Interface with different departments
Manage projects by due dates, costs, and quality
Oversee installation, configuration, and commissioning of systems on site if required and in collaboration with department management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Internal transfers must be a Level II engineer at Knapp to be considered
Deep knowledge of variety of Knapp products
Basic knowledge of electrical systems
Knowledge of computer systems and Windows
Knowledge of Knapp procedures and processes
Knowledge of the company structure and organization
Experienced with project procedures
Authorization to work in the U.S
Valid passport or ability to obtain passport
Travel required, up to 30%
Professional office etiquette is required at all times
Physical requirement may include: sitting, stooping, bending, visual acuity, finger dexterity, walking, lifting to 50 pounds
