Etch Process Engineer - Nights

Responsibilities

Monitor and respond to in-line issues in the wafer fabrication etch process, ensuring timely disposition of wafers
Qualify wafer fabrication etch processes on advanced tools
Coordinate process qualifications and equipment downtime with manufacturing and equipment teams
Analyze data using software tools to identify trends and inform processing decisions
Adjust process parameters as needed and monitor equipment performance after maintenance
Executes change point management on Etch processes / equipment
Continuously update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Required

Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering field
1+ year of experience in a related field
Experience with 300mm Dry Etch processes
Familiarity with equipment platforms such as Lam, AMAT, TEL, Mattson, Hitachi, and/or PSK
Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods and their implementation
Familiarity with Advanced Process Control (APC) techniques and its usage
Knowledge of basic chemistry, scientific methods, and experimental design principles
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with the team and other departments
Basic understanding of wafer fabrication processes
Familiarity with advanced statistical methods
Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and technical documents
