Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications and UI components
Utilize AI-assisted coding tools to enhance productivity, improve code quality, and streamline workflows
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Champion best practices for accessibility, performance, and maintainability
Contribute to continuous improvement through code reviews, automation, and modern tooling
Apply systems thinking to build for scale, reliability, and seamless integration across Apple Services
Qualification
Required
Experience building complex, large scale applications in using modern web technologies, including HTML/CSS/JavaScript or TypeScript (preferred)
Demonstrated proficiency in at least one JavaScript framework like React, Vue.js, Angular.js or equivalent
Demonstrated proficiency in modern CSS development using SASS
Deep knowledge of Node.js, NPM, Webpack, Babel or other toolchains
Deep knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, QUnit, etc. as well as testing best practices
General knowledge of networking protocols HTTP/1 & HTTP/2 (GET, POST), cookies and other HTTP headers
General knowledge of web development best practices around accessibility, performance and production monitoring
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
BS in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience
Preferred
Experience with iOS application development (Objective-C/Swift)
Exposure to modern AI/ML-based developer workflows for code generation, test automation, or performance optimization
Passion for improving engineering velocity through intelligent tooling and automation
