SNS-MRC COORDINATOR

NEOGOV is seeking an SNS-MRC Coordinator to assist the PHEP Manager in collaboration with various stakeholders including governmental officials and community organizations. The role involves developing emergency preparedness plans, conducting drills, and providing logistical support during public health emergencies.

Responsibilities

Conducts and completes documentation for SNS drills and exercises to include mandated preparedness exercises
Completes and conducts annual reviews of Medical Countermeasures (MCM) and SNS Point of Dispensing (POD) plans
Assesses existing Brownwood/Brown County resources that are available for use during a public health emergency
Completes inventory management reports to include movement and updating of storage schematics to include SNS warehouse inventory, distribution plans, and security surveys and submits to Manager for review and final approval
Draft and maintain storage for POD literature and signage required at POD locations
Assists with compilation of documentation for programmatic TA, QA, and/or audit reviews
Serve as the MRC Coordinator to include recruitment, training, and engagement of volunteers
Assists with public meetings and presentations and occasionally lead trainings and meetings
Participates in training opportunities to meet learning needs in this position which may require overnight travel
Assists PHEP Manager in researching PHEP initiatives and revising PHEP Plans, SOGs
Responds in emergency situations which may include a temporarily irregular work schedule

Required

High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
Must have and maintain a valid Texas Driver License
Must complete IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800 training within six months of employment
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, and the general public
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages and ability to apply such concepts to practical situations
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Ability to learn and use program specific web-based software/programs
Ability to design and execute evaluation processes
Ability to use standard office equipment
Proficient with/in current Windows operating system software
Current Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Apps
Knowledge of public health emergency preparedness and response activities
Knowledge of epidemiological principles
Ability to use graphic design programs
Ability to walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch
Visual acuity, speech, and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary

Preferred

Associate degree or 60 college credit hours preferred
Experience in emergency management, epidemiology, program management, or planning is preferred
