They are currently looking for an energetic and knowledgeable individual to fill a full-time Airport Engineer In Training position focused on FAA Airport projects in Lincoln, Nebraska. This role involves acquiring basic knowledge and developing skills in airport engineering while performing tasks such as preparing drawings, observing construction activities, and assisting with project documentation.

Responsibilities

Collects data and gathers information or documents

Performs standard computations or analysis

Prepares drawings and visual aids

Observes construction activities and/or basic survey services and completes accompanying reports

Assists on other tasks such as: preparation of permit applications, material testing, CADD work, filing air space studies

Performs moderate design tasks and prepares portions of project documents

Edits specifications

Performs research and investigations
