Responsibilities

Engineering design of filter and vessel components

Provide technical support and solutions to the sales team and customers

Site visits to process plants and fabricators

Maintain extensive knowledge of complex aspects of products and systems

Analyze customer requirements and illustrate how company solutions can provide value and support their organization

Work in partnership with supply chain and the sales team to confirm costs, strategize sales approaches, and ensure attainment of sales quotas

Prepare proposals and technical responses to RFI and RFPs

Understand specific client systems and equipment requirements to identify additional sales opportunities to provide to the sales team

Recommend modifications to standard products to meet individual customer requirements, within practical company and economic limitations

Provide written/verbal quotations and perform necessary follow-up

May perform costing analysis on product line items versus published pricing to arrive at gross margin calculation for review and approval by Applications and Sales Managers

May coordinate customer delivery requirements with the Production Department and configure technical solutions for customers to ensure successful customer integration

Anticipate and answer client/sales questions on product functionality/usage, application inquiries, and appropriate product recommendation in a timely manner

Should take the responsibilities of Developing Cost Sheets, Element Designs & developing familiarity with competitor products for retrofit purposes/opportunities

Occasionally help Project Manager, with reviewing internal & Vessel drawings; Coordinating with internal and external parties for the execution of projects; Project Scheduling & Tracking; Any other project execution duties as required

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology or related field preferred

4-6 years of experience in the same or in same or similar role

Logical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Works well in a cross-functional, open-communication environment

Ability to travel domestically, 10-25%

Valid Driver's License Required

Preferred

Experience in product design preferred
