Facilities Maintenance Technician
Shell Mobility & Convenience operates over 200 convenience stores and gas stations in Texas and New Mexico. The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for overseeing the upkeep of the building and infrastructure, managing repairs, and ensuring safety and functionality of facilities.

Responsibilities
Ensure convenience store station locations, warehouses, administrative offices are in good repair and safe working order
Complete building maintenance repairs throughout the company such as minor electrical, painting, structural, plumbing, carpentry, and equipment repairs
Perform upkeep and monitor grounds and landscaping for issues including trimming, mowing, weed removal and debris disposal
Complete repairs and troubleshoot fuel dispensers, and POS equipment as directed
Complete repairs and troubleshoot car wash equipment, coin mechanisms, and vacuums as directed
Perform equipment preventative maintenance as assigned
Perform custodial duties as assigned such as: pressure washing, trash and debris removal
Assist HVAC-R Maintenance Technicians with repairs, and preventative maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration equipment, as assigned
Complete repairs and preventative maintenance on in store equipment such as: coffee brewers, cappuccino machines, hot dog rollers, bun warmers, fryers, grills, etc
Complete routine inspections of all company properties and buildings as assigned
Assist with the completion of inventories of company maintenance tools, equipment, parts and supplies
Report to work as directed for emergency situations and/or on call after-hours maintenance issues
Report to work as directed for ice control or snow removal
Complete inspections and repairs of all emergency exit lighting
Maintain work order tracking system daily such as: new work orders, action notes, and completions
Wear issued uniform and PPE equipment as required
Perform other duties assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers
Knowledge of general carpentry, electrical, plumbing repair
Ability to use hand tools and power tools
Excellent organizational and time management skills
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must have valid driver's license and maintain insurability
Prolonged periods standing and walking
May regularly stand, climb, and walk on uneven ground while performing maintenance work
May regularly perform maintenance work in hot, cold, or unpleasant environmental conditions including industrial wastes, or other chemical and physical hazards such as petroleum based hazardous materials
Good corrected vision to make inspections, observe conditions, read labels, observe colors, and read written reports on computer monitor
May regularly lift, push, pull and/or move a minimum of 50 pounds
Considerable travel to locations throughout the state of New Mexico
Preferred
Minimum of 1 year related experience preferred
