Legal Assistant - Litigation and Real Estate (Minneapolis)
Taft Law is a full-service law firm with a collaborative approach and advanced technological resources. They are seeking a Legal Assistant to support their Litigation and Real Estate teams in Minneapolis, providing administrative support and ensuring exceptional client service.

Responsibilities
Provides skilled, proactive administrative support to attorneys, paralegals, and others as needed
Exhibits outstanding client service orientation in greeting guests, scheduling meetings, and conducting telephone conferences
Assists in managing client contacts, emails, and print documents as well as processing mail
Prepares and reviews documents, letters and memoranda according to Firm standards using word processing software and document management systems
Proactively monitors deadlines and maintains communication with attorneys regarding same
Processes requests for payment and reimbursements
Enters attorney billable hours into the firm billing program and assists with the billing process
Creates, maintains and retires files in accordance with Taft’s Information Governance Policy
Drafts basic documents and filings
E-files documents with the courts
Responds to requests with a sense of urgency and effectively prioritizes work
Clearly communicates in a concise, professional manner
Displays strong attention to detail
Qualification
Required

Preferred
At least 1 year of litigation-related Legal Assistant experience strongly preferred
Education beyond high school or coursework related to the legal industry preferred
