The role involves assisting in the operation of a Base Supply Center, providing customer service in a military retail store environment, and managing customer interactions and transactions.

Responsibilities

Receive payment for goods purchased in the form of Government Purchase Card or other authorized form of payment

Build relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication

Assist customers by answering product questions and suggesting information about other products and services

Provide tracking and status on outstanding orders

Maintain transaction records and register reconciliation documentation

Operate cash register with peripheral electronic data processing equipment

Inventory, store, price, and restock merchandise displays

Assist customers in the selection of required uniform, deployment and tactical gear products

Set up advertising signs and display merchandise on shelves, counters, or tables to attract customers and promote sales

Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles

Operate material handling equipment to include pallet jacks

Assist with clerical duties and routine office functions as required

Perform all other duties as may be assigned by the Asst. Store Manager
