The ValCap Group, LLC is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join their property management team. The ideal candidate will be HVAC certified and responsible for maintaining and repairing apartment community systems to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and emergency maintenance requests promptly and professionally
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems
Handle general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and preventative maintenance
Ensure all equipment, tools, and work areas are maintained in good condition
Assist with unit inspections, turnovers, and maintaining curb appeal
Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies
Follow all safety procedures and company standards

Required

HVAC certification (required)
Dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician
Experience in maintaining and repairing apartment community systems
Perform routine and emergency maintenance requests promptly and professionally
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems
Handle general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and preventative maintenance
Ensure all equipment, tools, and work areas are maintained in good condition

Previous multifamily property maintenance experience preferred
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and carpentry
