They are seeking a Commercial Business Development Manager who will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building client relationships, and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.

Responsibilities
Research, identify, and pursue new business opportunities in target markets (commercial, industrial, institutional, and retail sectors)
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers and influencers
Develop and execute a business development strategy to achieve revenue goals and market share growth
Collaborate with estimating and project teams to prepare bids, proposals, and presentations
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, lunch and learns and professional associations
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities
Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and activities within CRM tools
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management (construction, painting, coatings, or related industries preferred)
Strong understanding of the commercial construction or property management markets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to build trust and rapport quickly with diverse stakeholders
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to exceed targets
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Fluent English speaking and writing skills
Good time management skills
Professional dress, speech, and behavior
Preferred
A college degree and industry knowledge are preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field experience (preferred, but not required)
