Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and trust accounting
Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements
Lead reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and firm policies
Manage audit preparation and coordinate with external accountants
Implement process improvements and strengthen internal controls
Partner with leadership to provide timely financial insights
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
5+ years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle ownership
Strong understanding of GAAP and trust accounting principles
Advanced QuickBooks and Excel skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
Preferred
CPA or active CPA pursuit
Experience in a professional services or law firm environment preferred
