Responsibilities

Onsite Senior Network Engineer to provide expertise on Extreme Networks products and solutions

Must be able to provide networking concepts, protocols and technology recommendations, including but not limited to LAN, WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and network security

Maintain Extreme Networks products such as switches, routers, access points, and network management tools

Manage network related projects, including planning, implementation, documentation, including network upgrades, migrations and infrastructure expansions

US Citizenship Required

BA/BS from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5+ years' experience or substitute with AA/AS with 7+ years' experience

One of the following IAT Level II certifications (CySA+, Security+, CND, or SSCP) Certification and CE/OS Certification

CCNA Certification or equivalent required

Extreme Networks Associate (XNA) certification required

10+ years of relevant experience working with network infrastructure, with a focus on Extreme Networks products and solutions

Experience with VMware NSX: Install, Configure, Manage (V6.2)

Experience with Ruckus Layer 2 Switches / Wireless Controller / Wireless Access Points

Experience with Palo Alto Networks Firewall knowledge of PA-7050 / PA-3060 / PA-3260 / PA-5450 / WildFire/URL Filtering

Experience with Brocade MPLS Implementation Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches

Experience with Cisco Networks switches and routers

Experience with Aruba Networks Excellent knowledge of Wireless Controllers / Access Points / Airwave / ClearPass

Experience with Ciena 100G OME 6500 DWDM System

Experience with Extreme Networks Layer 2/3, MLXE Switches /Extreme IQ / OSPF, BGP, and MPLS

Experience with SolarWinds, InMon Sentinel, Uptrends

Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills

Have the ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure
