Responsibilities
Your role will include, project engineering/management, design, planning, operational support with a focus on water treatment / reuse and drinking water projects
Supporting proposal development
Mentor junior drinking water staff
Coordination and collaboration with clients
Coordination with internal technical specialists in all practice areas and discipline design professionals for project delivery
Supporting projects to meet client expectations, budgets, and quality requirements
Following internal Hazen processes to ensure quality delivery of engineering projects for clients
Technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments on small to medium projects
Performing planning, studies, design, and support of projects through design, construction, and operation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering
PE license
5-12 years of experience in municipal water treatment, water quality, water treatment technology, or manufacturing
Experience in successfully delivering projects spanning multiple years in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams
Proficient in all MS Office based computer software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and capable of interacting effectively with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies
Self-starter with attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Must be capable of presenting complex issues to nontechnical people
Preferred
Advanced degree (Master's or Doctorate) in Civil/Environmental Engineering
