Responsibilities
Perform basic inspections, including first article, in-process, and final checks
Learn and follow procedures for handling out-of-tolerance parts
Assist engineers with measuring parts and reviewing dimensions
Set up and use inspection tools with guidance from senior team members
Help update documentation for quality systems and processes
Support internal audits and improvement projects
Learn how to identify issues and assist with problem-solving activities
Help maintain tools and keep calibration records up to date
Qualification
Required
Ability to read basic engineering drawings (training provided)
Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
Comfortable using measuring tools like calipers or micrometers
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred
Coursework or training in manufacturing, machining, or quality control
Basic understanding of GD&T or ISO 9001 principles
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., IQMS) or CMM software (e.g., CALYPSO)
ASQ certification or technical degree in a related field
