Responsibilities
Lead mechanical design and integration activities related to propulsion systems and subsystems (mounts, ducts, fuel, electrical interfaces, vibration isolation, etc.)
Serve as the primary engineering point of contact for propulsion integration—coordinating between internal structures, systems, and flight test teams and external engine partners
Develop and maintain 3D CAD models, installation drawings, and integration assemblies that define propulsion fit and function
Conduct trade studies on layout, mass properties, thermal management, and maintainability
Collaborate with stress, thermal, and aerodynamics engineers to ensure safe and efficient engine operation
Support prototype builds and flight tests by resolving integration and installation issues
Generate design documentation, test procedures, and reports to support manufacturing and certification activities
Identify risks early and propose practical design mitigations or improvements
