The Simeonov Lab is seeking a Research Technician I or II to assist in studying cancer evolution and therapy resistance, utilizing advanced molecular technologies and single-cell sequencing.

Responsibilities
Assist with molecular cloning and engineering of CRISPR-based lineage recording systems
Perform mammalian cell culture, lentiviral transduction, and cell line development
Support in vivo experiments using mouse models of cancer (e.g., tumor transplantation, tissue collection)
Prepare samples for single-cell sequencing (g., 10x Genomics)
Conduct tissue harvesting and flow cytometry
Help organize and maintain lab stocks, databases, and protocols
Record, analyze, and present data with careful attention to detail
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in related scientific field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated scientific knowledge in the area of study
Demonstrated basic laboratory skills
2 years of experience working in a lab outside of school coursework
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, physics, computer science or related field
Experience with molecular biology techniques (g., PCR, cloning, gel electrophoresis) and/or mammalian cell culture
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Strong motivation to learn new techniques and contribute to a team-based research environment
Experience with flow cytometry or high-throughput sequencing
Experience with mouse handling or a willingness to learn
Familiarity with basic data analysis in R or Python
