RaceTrac is a company focused on energy and innovation, and they are seeking a Dedicated Advanced Service Technician responsible for the maintenance and repair of their Travel Centers and EDO stores. The technician will ensure the operability of the store, resolve maintenance issues, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Resolves maintenance and services issues at the RaceTrac Travel Center to ensure full operability 24/7, ultimately increases the profitability of the company

Treatment of stained areas with chemical degreaser and completely pressure washes sections of the store each day

Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, and all other work areas

Maintain all trash on site during their shift

Ensures each job is performed at a high level of skill and with optimal customer service

Serves as a knowledge expert in general maintenance functions including, but not limited to: HVACR, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, foodservice/beverage amenities, and petroleum dispensing systems

Accurately maintain equipment, tools, and inventory on site

Provides project support to cross-functional departments in various initiatives related to stores

Responds to additional ad hoc maintenance requests communicated from store personnel as needed

Maintains knowledge of local and state guidelines for facility services as necessary

Performs other work-related duties as assigned

Works with other ASTs to cross train in multiple trades

Has the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to repeatedly bend, stand and reach while on the job

Fuel dispenser and pump repair knowledge preferred

Technical School training in HVACR or electrical preferred

Experience in a retail maintenance environment preferred

Basic Microsoft office knowledge

4+ years work experience preferred
