Technician IV-Equipment (RTP/CVD)
Microchip Technology Inc. is a global organization focused on designing technology that powers the world. They are seeking an experienced Technician IV-Equipment to support maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment at their Fab 4 facility, requiring excellent troubleshooting skills and teamwork.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of Applied Centura RTP equipment, and will assist with Novellus C2s, Novellus Sabres, and Watkins Johnson equipment
Work with systems containing radiation, electrical, mechanical, liquid, and gas hazards
Trouble-shoot electronic, electrical, and mechanical problems
Read and interpret mechanical prints and electrical/electronic schematics
Practice effective and productive written and verbal communication
Document work in maintenance logs effectively
Follow procedures and instructions
Able to contribute as a reliable and effective team member with minimal supervision
Qualification
Required
AA degree in a technical field
Or equivalent semiconductor industry experience, military training or technical degree
5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance performing PM's on AMAT tools
Or equivalent technical military experience
Solid organizational, documentation and writing skills
Creative problem-solving and decision-making skills
Self-directed, self-motivated
Proficient with MS Office products
Preferred
Experience on AMAT RTP tools
Additional experience in other fab maintenance areas
