Creative Marketing & Social Media Manager

Blades Direct is a fast-growing leader in the diamond blade and construction equipment industry, seeking a Creative Marketing & Social Media Manager to enhance their brand through engaging content and community building. The role involves hands-on creativity, managing social media, and collaborating with the E-Commerce department to drive online sales and brand growth.

Responsibilities

Creative Content: Design eye-catching graphics, videos, and print materials (social posts, email campaigns, posters, flyers) that keep Blades Direct on-brand
Social Media Management: Build and manage shops on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Linkedin ETC. Create content that drives sales and sparks engagement
Community Engagement: Reply to DMs, comments, and messages, schedule appointments, and manage brand outreach to contractors and partners
Trends & Growth: Stay on top of social media and marketing trends to keep us fresh, relevant, and one step ahead of the competition
Video Marketing: Produce short-form content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) showcasing installs, products, Free Saw Friday hype, and customer testimonials
Ambassador & Influencer Programs: Build partnerships with contractors and industry influencers, launch referral and ambassador programs, and grow our brand visibility
User-Generated Content: Run contests, create branded hashtags, and feature customer installs across our platforms
Email & SMS Marketing: Develop automated campaigns (cart recovery, promos, loyalty rewards, newsletters) to keep customers engaged
Collaboration: Partner with our SEO/Analytics lead to align content with performance data and campaign insights — creativity + strategy working together
Events & Partnerships: Support trade shows, local contractor events, and co-branded promotions with manufacturers we carry

Required

Strong design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar)
Creative thinker with a sharp eye for branding and visual storytelling

Strong communicator and collaborator — especially with our E-Com and SEO/Analytics teams
Organized self-starter with a growth-focused mindset

Preferred

Video creation and editing skills a big plus
