BEPC Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Advanced Mechanical Engineer to join our client’s dynamic Engine Systems and Component Design team. This position focuses on gas turbine engine rotor dynamics and system/transient dynamics engineering, contributing to the design and analysis of propulsion engines and auxiliary power units (APUs).

Responsibilities

Perform design and analysis using complex finite element methods
Conduct static structural and fatigue analyses for aerospace turbomachine equipment
Provide technical oversight to global engineering teams across multiple time zones
Deliver technical reports and presentations to internal and external customers
Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
Ensure requirements validation, project compliance, and risk management
Participate in root cause and corrective action investigations
Support process development and continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering organization

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience performing static structural and fatigue analyses for aerospace turbomachine applications
Proficiency in ANSYS finite element software and classical hand calculation methods
Experience with linear static, nonlinear/elasto-plastic, fatigue (HCF & LCF), modal, shock, harmonic, random vibration, and crack growth analyses
Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)

Preferred

Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide engineering teams
Experience with new product development in a highly regulated environment
Proven ability to analyze and solve complex engineering problems
Successful track record contributing to product development and project execution
Capability to operate effectively in a matrix organization
Continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify and implement process enhancements
