Responsibilities

Editing video podcast episodes to create visually compelling and engaging intros and long-form videos for social media and podcast platforms
Crafting engaging narratives, building emotional arcs, and delivering impactful messages from long-form conversations
Integrating motion graphics, b-roll, and other visual elements to enhance the storytelling
Ensuring all final videos are accurately subtitled, branded, and organized for publishing
Adding subtitles and branding to all videos and ensuring all final files are complete and organized

Required

5-10 years of experience editing video content for high-profile podcasts or YouTube channels
Proven expertise in editing long-form conversations into dynamic, short-form content
High-level understanding of how to edit content specifically for YouTube and other social platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels)
Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, with a primary focus on Adobe Premiere Pro
A strong portfolio demonstrating your video editing and storytelling abilities
Experience crafting compelling narrative arcs through editing
An instinct for choosing and creating compelling story arcs
An ability to think outside the box, learn quickly, work in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively with a team
The experience to receive footage with minimal direction but still be to craft a highly engaging story
Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work on tight deadlines
