Responsibilities
Preparing financial forecasts for each of the major property and casualty products written by Cincinnati Insurance
Estimating the distribution and variability of financial forecasts
Performing risk analyses of property and casualty loss reserves
Providing analytical support for strategic planning
Developing pricing for assigned states and product lines
Providing filing support for rate changes
Working with models to assess competitive advantages with major competitors
Pricing and modeling reinsurance transactions in support of our assumed reinsurance operations
Qualification
Required
Excellent academic record, including a bachelor's degree or higher in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, physics, economics or a similar technical field of study
Ability to communicate effectively both in speech and writing
Ability to solve problems systematically and creatively
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Confidence in using computers; Microsoft® Excel and SAS experience
Preferred
Passed at least one exam and are pursuing an actuarial designation
Business coursework is a plus
