The Residential Program Manager is responsible for overseeing one or more residential group homes, ensuring compliance with regulations, staffing, and the overall well-being of individuals served. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Individual & Family Services

Responsibilities

Responsible for the daily operations and management of one or more group homes
Ensure adequate staffing coverage 24 /7 for individuals residing in the home by managing staff scheduling to required supervision ratios
Plan and assign work to employees to ensure completion of tasks and responsibilities related to provision of supports and services to Individuals served
Ensure compliance with all DDS, agency, and other regulatory oversight agency policies and procedures
Develop and implement effective operational procedures which enable success as needed
Complete all required documentation accurately and on time
Utilize all company systems, software, processes, etc. as required. Ensure staff are using correctly as well
Ensure the needs of the individuals are met consistently and in accordance with the individuals’ plan so they can live their best lives. This includes but is not limited to medical, behavioral, vocational needs, transportation, etc
Maintain and update individuals’ plans as needed in accordance with state and agency requirements
Assist and instruct the individuals in the program with the activities of daily living and community participation
Provide direct care coverage as needed
Direct oversight of a team of Direct Support Professionals including scheduling, performance management and employee development
Ensure team members always have all required trainings and certifications
Lead team meetings and ensure all team members have all required information to successfully do their jobs
Facilitate staff trainings as needed
Establish successful working relationships with supporting/sister teams and departments
Communicate regularly to management team on program performance, successes, and issues
Partner with other leaders and administrative team members to share expertise and insights
Identify and participate in projects / initiatives that contribute to long-term excellence and individuals’ growth
Develop an understanding of the workings of each department and team in the company
Perform special projects / assignments as needed
Use technology for the completion of specified job duties
Perform on-call duties as assigned, responding to on-site emergencies as needed
Since local travel using company vehicles is required, a valid driver’s license and clean driving record are needed
Must be flexible and willing to work weekends and holidays
Requires 2nd shift presence based on residential needs
Required participation in a rotating on-call staffing schedule
Must be able to perform unannounced 3rd shift spot checks at group home locations
Skill based assessments are required for this position

Required

An associate degree or working towards a bachelor's degree
Minimum of 2 years' management experience preferably in the Human Service field
Must have a solid command of Microsoft 365 including Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

Preferred

Knowledge and understanding of Intellectual Developmental Disabilities and experience managing individuals / agency relationships including regulations, funding guidelines, and program models including CLA's, CRS's and IHS
Experience with Paycom and Therap
