Responsibilities
Designing simple and complex bridges (primarily of steel and concrete construction) and a variety of transportation related structures (retaining walls, culverts, sign structures, and other miscellaneous structures) using applicable software
Involvement in the development of contract plans
Preparation of engineer's estimates and construction specifications
Performing construction support services
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Civil Engineering (MS in Structural Engineering preferable)
0 - 4 years of experience in Civil or Structural Engineering
Good oral and written communication skills
Proficiency using CADD (Microstation preferred)
A desire to work in a team environment
Preferred
Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is preferred
Prior experience with NJDOT or NJ Turnpike Authority standards is preferred, but not required
