Responsibilities

Demonstrate Windsor’s core values: The Right Attitude, Ownership, and Constant Improvement
Manage projects as Lead Engineer and/or Project Manager, ensuring successful delivery of scope, schedule, and budget
Serve as Engineer of Record, ensuring technical excellence and regulatory compliance
Oversee project documentation, design quality, and adherence to Windsor’s Quality Management Plan (QMP)
Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver fully integrated design solutions
Conduct site visits to verify conditions, assess system performance, and support construction administration
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor and technical resource
Identify and pursue new project opportunities through proactive relationship building, networking, and market awareness
Support proposal development and estimating, including scope definition and fee preparation
Participate in client presentations, interviews, and business development meetings to promote Windsor’s capabilities
Collaborate with leadership to develop strategic accounts and explore opportunities for new markets or service lines
Mentor and train junior engineers, fostering technical growth and professional development
Promote knowledge sharing and a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering team
Develop and apply in-depth knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems, building codes, and industry standards
Evaluate emerging technologies and sustainability practices to enhance energy efficiency and occupant comfort

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
Minimum of ten (10) years experience in the MEP design industry
HVAC design experience
Strong written and verbal communications skills

Preferred

Experience as Project Manager
Experience with business development
