Senior Project Manager - Permanent Displays

The Royal Group, an affiliate of Schwarz Partners, is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Permanent Displays to support their Marlton, NJ facility. This role involves overseeing all aspects of display projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards, while coordinating across various teams and managing project profitability.

Responsibilities

Oversee all phases of display projects, from initiation to delivery
Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring all milestones are met
Coordinate with Development, Production, Shipping, and Invoicing teams to ensure seamless project progression
Implement and enforce quality control processes. Ensure all team members and external manufacturers adhere to quality standards
Act as the primary point of contact for sales regarding project status and expectations
Communicate critical project information to the Sales team to manage client expectations
Manage project budgets and profit margins. Ensure all costs are captured in estimates and that any scope changes are communicated and approved
Provide guidance and training to other project managers, particularly on complex display projects
Foster a collaborative and productive team environment
Occasional Plane Travel to the manufacturing site

Required

College degree or professional experience in lieu of education
7-10 years of experience in project management with a focus on Retail Displays
Various project software packages
Acumatica knowledge
Strong English verbal and written skills
Microsoft Environment (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Language Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents such as sales reports, operating instructions, training, and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization
Mathematical Skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentage, area, and volume. Ability to compute cost, profits, rates, and ratios
Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve a variety of problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited information or standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Leadership Attributes - must possess the following: Superior time management skills including the ability to manage multiple issues concurrently and the ability to lead an effecting and efficient meeting. Excellent crisis manager who demonstrates that he/she has a high emotional control under adverse conditions and can lead his/her personnel to a successful resolution. Professional appearance to support his/her role as a managerial representative
Excellent employee relations skills, being an active listener, understanding how to appraise personnel, applying both positive and corrective feedback, being able to resolve conflicts either involving directly or as a third party

Preferred

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent experience in the Corrugated Industry
Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
Experience with overseas manufacturing
