Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a strong product leader to serve as General Manager of their Life Sciences organization. The role involves driving the multi-year vision and strategy for AWS Life Sciences products, focusing on drug discovery, clinical development, and diagnostics, while building partnerships and leading product teams.

Responsibilities
Own and drive the multi-year vision, strategy, and execution roadmap for AWS Life Sciences products across drug discovery, clinical development, and diagnostics
Lead development of foundational capabilities in HealthOmics and HealthImaging while identifying new opportunities for AI-powered life sciences solutions
Drive key PRFAQs and OP1 documents for executive review, securing leadership alignment on strategic initiatives
Define and own business metrics, P&L responsibilities, and growth strategies
Partner with scientific, engineering, and go-to-market leaders to accelerate adoption of AWS Life Sciences solutions
Build and nurture executive relationships with pharmaceutical, biotech, and research organization leaders
Represent AWS Life Sciences strategy at executive forums and drive strategic partnerships
Lead and develop senior product leaders while fostering a culture of innovation and scientific excellence
Qualification
Required
10+ years of product management experience in enterprise software
Deep experience in life sciences technology, particularly in drug discovery, bioinformatics, or clinical trials
Experience driving enterprise-scale product strategy and execution
Track record of building and leading senior product teams
Experience with P&L ownership and pricing strategies
Strong technical background with understanding of AI/ML technologies
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or related field
Preferred
Advanced degree (PhD/MS) in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or related field
MBA from top-tier institution
Experience with omics data analysis platforms and workflows
Deep understanding of clinical development processes and regulatory requirements
Track record of successful enterprise product launches in life sciences
Experience with cloud computing platforms and distributed systems
Publication record or patents in life sciences technology
Demonstrated success in building partner ecosystems
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
