IT Technical Aid
Nexlogica is seeking an IT Technical Aid to provide basic support services and assistance under the supervision of professional information technology staff. The role involves supporting systems customers with IT-related issues, performing routine systems testing, and assisting in the installation and troubleshooting of IT devices.

Responsibilities
Provide basic support services and assistance
Perform routine information systems related tasks
Provide support to systems customers and/or to departmental staff for a variety of IT related issues
Identify, track, document, research, and resolve job issues or problem calls
Follow specific procedures for escalating high priority issues
Support IT professionals by performing routine systems testing and production work
Validate user manuals, procedures, and other instructional materials
Work on medium size office grade printers and high speed commercial printers
Assist in the installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of information technology devices including personal computers, video display terminals, printers, cabling and other hardware
Qualification
Required
Knowledge and experience in customer service
Decision making
Organizational awareness
Problem solving
Oral communication, speaking and writing
Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Two (2) years of highly specialized clerical experience involved in an information systems environment including the use or installation of desktop software and/or operating high-speed commercial printers
A high school diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver's License
Own vehicle that can be used to commute to work sites
Ability to travel to all company sites in order to provide required work
