The role involves preparing and processing new loans and renewals while providing administrative support to the lending function within the Credit Union.

Responsibilities
Works closely with internal Member Service personnel assisting with gathering financial information on members for the purpose of determining qualifying status for a consumer loan, providing members with applications and obtaining additional information as required, and processing, reviewing, and verifying a myriad of loan documents for accuracy for loan transactions
Responsible for accurately preparing and processing new loans and renewals, maintaining the loan department’s filing system, and providing a wide variety of administrative support to the internal staff and various activities related to the lending function within the Credit Union
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Must possess courteous and professional attitude
Basic mathematical skills
Technical ability to input and retrieve computerized information
Ability to maintain the integrity of highly confidential member and credit union information
Ability to deal effectively with time pressures depending on level of member activity
Effective problem solving skills
Preferred
Knowledge of lending services, products, lending processes and policies
