The successful candidate will lead site/civil design projects in the public sector and institutional markets while managing design for multiple projects and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities
Lead teams in all aspects of site/civil project design including site layout, site planning, grading, storm water management, erosion & sediment control, roadways, utilities, and permitting for commercial, industrial, and residential projects
Manage design for multiple projects
Assist with business development/marketing/proposal efforts
Oversee, train and mentor junior/mid-level staff
Work closely with clients and agency staff, including attendance at public and/or construction meetings and also represent the company at other events as needed
Qualification
Required
BS degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum 8 years of directly related experience
Virginia PE license required
Strong communication skills
Ability to work on multiple project assignments concurrently
Ability to work and interact with clients, maintain project budgets and schedules
Ability to provide technical expertise to design staff
Desire to work in a team environment
Strong computer skills utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D, storm water modeling software, as well as Microsoft Office programs
