Responsibilities

Backstage duties as assigned, including but not limited to lighting operation (lighting consoles, follow spotlights), sound reinforcement ( FOH console operation, audio system setup), load-in and load-out assistance, occasional system and facilities maintenance

Front of house technicians: position will serve as house manager, responsible for coordinating all Front-Of-House ( FOH ) operations in the Theatre spaces. Specific responsibilities include training and supervising ushers; communicating with stage managers and technical supervisors during and in advance of performances; and ensuring the safety of all patrons using theatre spaces. Experience in dealing with the public of all ages; sensitivity to the needs of patrons; upbeat, enthusiastic attitude in public relations; ability to enforce department safety regulations and communicate the same to the public; attention to detail; ability to troubleshoot problems and work for customer satisfaction, ability to work independently with limited direct supervision
