They are seeking summer interns to work within engineering teams, where interns will design and develop code, participate in the software development life-cycle, and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic startup environment.

Responsibilities
Designing and developing code to specs and progressing that code through the software development life-cycle into production
Responsible for a team project through the 12-week program that’s been planned around your skill set
Attend large scale software life-cycle ceremonies and participate in requirements, design, maintenance and support discussions outside of your project
Spend time learning with engineering experts solving real-world problems in a large-scale software environment
Explore your own designs and solutions in a rapidly changing industry-leading environment
Work in a late-stage startup environment at the first and only US federally chartered crypto bank
Expand your skill set to better prepare you for your future career after graduation
Qualification
Required
Proactively demonstrates curiosity in learning about Anchorage's technologies from managers, mentors, technical leads, and/or peers (e.g. peer reviews, code quality)
Writes, reviews, tests, and documents code according to Anchorage engineering and team standards and practices
Operates autonomously, yet also demonstrates the ability to ask for help as appropriate and apply it
Can troubleshoot, debug, fix basic issues, and apply basic problem solving techniques
Contributes to software design for their assigned intern project under direct supervision
Is able to explain what Anchorage does and can summarize and explain the top company objectives
Understands how their own work relates to the work of a broader team/function
Contributes to team activities and collaborates with the team to solve problems
Listens and speaks properly with other team members and shares standard information with colleagues, manager and other team managers or leads
Builds stable working relationships internally
Preferred
You are pursuing either a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (or similar degree) and will be graduating December 2026/Summer 2027
You have experience with Blockchain technology and digital assets
You are the student your classmates go to when they don't understand why their code doesn't work
You were emotionally moved by the soundtrack to Hamilton, which chronicles the founding of a new financial system!
